Payment/Withdrawal Policy
2026 Summer

Any portion of the program fees not paid by its applicable installment due date will be considered outstanding. If the full balance is not paid by the final due date of April 1, 2026, any outstanding balance will be subject to an interest charge of 2.5% per month on the unpaid amount. Any family with an outstanding balance beyond the final due date must pay the balance in full before their child(ren) will be permitted to continue participating in the Calgary Bucks Baseball program.
Formal requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to admin@absolutesports.ca on or before March 15, 2026. Refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of Calgary Bucks Baseball. If a refund is issued, a $100 administration fee will be charged, plus an additional amount, as determined by Calgary Bucks Baseball, to reasonably cover costs already incurred through the player’s participation and/or any monetary loss that cannot be recovered due to the late withdrawal of a player.
Please note that refunds will not be issued in the event of a disagreement regarding player placement. To avoid any misunderstandings prior to evaluations, families are encouraged to contact Calgary Bucks Baseball in advance. Calgary Bucks Baseball Club will consider a partial refund if one of the following circumstances occurs prior to March 15, 2026:
Player Injury – Refund requests must be submitted by email to admin@absolutesports.ca and must be accompanied by a signed note from a medical practitioner that includes:
- Date the injury occurred
- Nature of the injury
- Confirmation from the medical practitioner that the injury is season ending
Change in Player Location – Permanent relocation of the player’s primary residence outside of Calgary or its surrounding municipalities.
After March 15, 2026, Calgary Bucks Baseball will not issue refunds or prorate any fees.
Players are expected to return their jerseys upon completion of their competitive season. A $300 fee will be charged to cover the cost of any jersey not returned.
Calgary Bucks Baseball does not cover player or family travel expenses beyond tournament fees. This includes, but is not limited to, vehicle rentals, fuel, airfare, accommodations, food and beverages, college visits, or additional showcases.
Grievance Procedure
Unless there is an immediate health or safety concern, players, families, and coaching staff are required to wait 24 hours before bringing an issue forward.
In practical terms, this means that parents/guardians may not confront a coach, team official, or umpire to discuss any perceived “negative” game or practice situation until at least 24 hours have passed following the conclusion of the game or practice.
After the 24 hour period has elapsed, a parent/guardian may raise their concern with the Head Coach or Team Manager. At no time may a parent/guardian confront an umpire. If a parent/guardian has a concern regarding how a game was officiated, those concerns must be communicated through the Head Coach or Team Manager.
If the issue is not addressed to your satisfaction, you should then contact your Division Coordinator with the details of your concern:
- 13U: Zach Bryksa | zach@absolutesports.ca
- 15U: Cory Curtis | cory@absolutesports.ca
- 18U: Phil Curtis | phil@absolutesports.ca
If the Division Coordinator determines that a person or persons are in contravention of any policies, practices, or procedures of the Calgary Bucks Baseball Club, they will be informed and given an opportunity to correct the issue. If necessary, the General Manager and Assistant General Manager will be included in these discussions.
If, after a reasonable period of time, the individual fails to comply with the direction of the Division Coordinator, the General Manager and Assistant General Manager will determine the next course of action.
If, after all of the above steps have been completed, you feel the issue has not been appropriately resolved, you may contact admin@absolutesports.ca. At that point, the Owner will become involved and may request that concerns be escalated to Baseball Alberta for further resolution.
