Summer Teams 2025
Upon acceptance of a placement offer with the Calgary Bucks Baseball program, parents/guardians have an obligation to pay the full fees charged, and according to the program payment schedule.
Any family who has an unpaid balance with Calgary Bucks Baseball must pay the outstanding balance before their child(ren) will be allowed to continue participating in the Calgary Bucks Baseball program.
Formal requests for refunds must be made in writing to admin@absolutesports.ca on or before January 8, 2025. All refund requests are subject to a $100 administrative fee.
Please note that refunds will not be given in the event of a disagreement with respect to player placement. To avoid any misunderstandings prior to evaluations, please do not hesitate to contact Calgary Bucks Baseball Club.
After January 8, 2025 and prior to March 15, 2025, refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of the Calgary Bucks Baseball Club. If issued, any refund will be subject to an administration fee of $100, plus an amount, as determined by Calgary Bucks Baseball, that reasonably covers costs already incurred through the player’s participation, and/or monetary loss that cannot be regained by the late exit of a player.
Calgary Bucks Baseball Club will consider a partial refund should one of the following instances occur prior to March 15, 2025:
-
Player Injury – refund request must be sent by email to admin@absolutesports.ca and accompanied by a signed note from a medical practitioner that includes the following information:
-
Date the injury occurred

After March 15, 2025, Calgary Bucks Baseball Club will not issue refunds or pro-rate any fees.
Players are expected to return their jerseys upon completion of their competitive season. A $300 fee will be charged to cover the cost of any jersey not returned.
Calgary Bucks Baseball does not cover player/family travel expenses beyond tournament fees. This includes but is not limited to vehicle rentals, gas, airfare, hotel, food/beverages and any college visits or additional showcases.
Grievance Procedure
Unless there is an immediate health and safety concern, players, families and coaching staff are required to wait 24 hours prior to bringing an issue forward.
Briefly, this means that parents/guardians are not allowed to confront a coach, team official, or umpire to discuss any “negative” game or practice situation with the coaching and management staff until at least 24 hours have passed from the completion of the game or practice. After 24 hours has elapsed, the parent/guardian may address their concern with the Head Coach or Team Manager. AT NO TIME will a parent/guardian EVER confront an umpire. If a parent/guardian has a fundamental issue with how a game was officiated, the parent/guardian will channel said concerns through the Head Coach or Team Manager.
If the issue is not dealt with to your satisfaction; you should contact your division coordinator with the details of your concern.
13U – Ian Finlay @ Ian@absolutesports.ca
15U – Cory Curtis @ Cory@absolutesports.ca
18U – Phil Curtis @ Phil@absolutesports.ca
If the division coordinator finds that a person or persons are in contravention of any of the policies, practices or procedures of the Calgary Bucks Baseball Club, then that person will be informed of such and be given an opportunity to make corrections. If necessary, the program General Manager and Assistant General Manager will be included in these conversations.
If, after a reasonable amount of time, the person refuses to confirm the request of the Division Coordinator, the General Manager and Assistant General Manager will determine the next course of action.
If, after all these steps are completed, you feel the issue has not been appropriately resolved, you are asked to contact admin@absolutesports.ca at which time the Owner will become involved and may ask that you report concerns to Baseball Alberta for further resolution.
